An important recognition

Being selected as finalists in three different categories is a great honor not only for Markas but also for all Markas' employees who work hard every single day in order to maintain exceptionally high cleaning standards.

Furthermore, with more than 39 different companies -a record number of participants-  this year's European Cleaning & Hygiene Awards represent a prestigious opportunity to compete with other key players of the cleaning sector.

The awards, organized and promoted by the European Cleaning Journal, cover various areas of professional cleaning: from sustainability and inclusion projects to the most important personalities of the sector who made a difference.

Markas has been shortlisted for the following categories: 'Investment in Training', 'Rising Star' and 'Commitment to Diversity'.

Our nominations

Our 'Skill development program for young talents and employees' children: MarkaSeeds and Markas Lift has been nominated in the category 'Investment in training'. The objective of this category is to evaluate companies that have implemented training schemes based on their employees' personal and professional development.

The "Rising Star" category, on the other hand, aims at rewarding those cleaning professionals who shined and who, in addition to excelling in their everyday job, have had a significant impact on their team, demonstrating that they can set a brilliant example for the future. For this category, Markas chose to put forward Mattia Capozzi.

Finally, regarding the category "Commitment to Diversity", Markas Austria has been shortlisted with the project "Inclusion at Markas Austria". This award recognizes those organizations that have clearly demonstrated their investment in people, their competences and their professional growth.

We are looking forward to the awards ceremony...and you? See you in Brussels!
