From clean hospital rooms to data protection: Markas Germany joins The Alliance for Cybersecurity

Earlier this year, Markas Germany became a member of the Alliance for Cybersecurity (ACS) as part of a bigger commitment to protecting clients' and employees' data with the highest security standards.

Due to more sophisticated hacking threats and the increasing number of networking systems and devices, a significant number of companies in Germany, face cyber-attacks that often lead to data loss, cyber risks and operational downtimes (source:2017 Cyber Security Survey).



 
Markas Germany joins The Alliance for Cybersecurity

The Alliance for Cybersecurity is an initiative, launched back in 2012 by the Federal Office for Information Security (Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik), which aims at enhancing Germany's resilience against cyber-attacks and foster a secure digital environment.

Furthermore, The Alliance for Cybersecurity serves as a platform for exchanging useful information on a variety of topics including potential current and future threats, security measurements, best practices and reports.

In fact, over 7,700 companies and institutions already benefit from the diverse offerings of The Alliance for Cybersecurity, expanding in this way their knowledge of IT security strategies and supporting each other​​.

By joining The Alliance for Cybersecurity, Markas wants to proactively address cybersecurity challenges underscoring the importance of protecting sensitive data.

The company will actively participate in network meetings as well as training sessions in order to be ready to respond promptly to emerging threats, implement improved practices, combat threats and safeguard business operations.
